Suirside Construction is proud to have recently completed a comprehensive renovation project for Gorey Fire Station, designed to enhance the station’s functionality and provide a modern, efficient environment for the firefighters and staff. This project is a testament to our commitment to delivering high-quality construction solutions that meet the specific needs of our clients.
The renovation began with the installation of a new roof, ensuring long-term durability and protection for the entire building. This upgrade was essential in maintaining the structural integrity of the station and safeguarding against the elements.

We also undertook a renovation of the changing room facilities, adding specialized drying racks for firefighter suits. These racks are crucial for quickly drying and maintaining gear after calls, ensuring that equipment is always ready for the next emergency.
Upstairs, the project involved expanding the originally single-floor layout by adding three new rooms. Two of these new rooms were designated as offices, providing additional workspace for staff. The third room was converted into a canteen, offering a dedicated space for meals and rest, improving overall staff comfort and functionality.
