Waterford Gallery of Art

Waterford Gallery of Art was developed in a previously disused building on O’Connell Street in Waterford, close to the city’s Cultural Quarter. The purpose-developed art exhibition space allows the council to show off its municipal collection.

Suirside Construction Ltd were delighted to complete conservation work on the late Georgian, early Victorian building.

Waterford Gallery of Art

Working with architects Rojo Studios and Tyrell Quantity Surveyors, Suirside Construction Ltd completed the conservation work on the first Municipal Gallery for Waterford City Council in Waterford City. The project included the installation of an Architectural concrete floor to house the exhibition.

An extensive electrical fitout was also completed as part of the project. All joinery and conservation works were completed by in our in-house joinery team.

Suirside Construction Ltd also completed new office areas, glass lobby areas and repair work on the roofing structure in accordance with industry conservation methods. All work was carried out to high specifications and was completed to a tight schedule.
